We are a small independent cat rescue based in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. We registered as a charity in 2020 and were given charity number 1190634.
We are the proud winners of the Local Animal Service Award 2024!
Fylde Coast is run by Kim Millard who has a wealth of knowledge and experience with cats, and supported by a small team of fosterers and volunteers who help save and rehome hundreds of cats and kittens every year.
The rescue's focus is on getting sick or injured strays, pregnant cats, litters and kittens safe, and neutering feral cats. We take in the neediest cats, help them, and work hard to find them loving forever homes.
We have specialist facilities, experience and knowledge that make us ideal for pregnant cats, litters, and kittens, as well as adult cats in need. We also have set ups for feral cats and have our own TNR scheme. In addition, we have a fabulous group of foster carers who look after our cats within their own homes to help get them ready to be adopted.
All of our cats are vet checked, flead, wormed, spayed/neutered microchipped and receive their first vaccination before adoption, and kittens too young to be spayed/neutered will be homed with a voucher to have them neutered at our vets. Some cats remain in forever foster if they have extra needs and can't be adopted.
We are entirely volunteer run, and funded solely by public donations - every penny goes to the cats that need them most.
Our adoption fee is currently £80.
Your support and contributions will enable us to help these animals. We appreciate all donations, both financial and if you are able to donate food, litter, and anything else to help us take care of the cats. We are entirely funded by public donations and run by volunteers so every penny goes towards the cats.
